The title of the piece is a Japanese kanji radical used in expressions related to doing, moving, and traveling, and to signify a line of poetic verse. The music was composed during the COVID pandemic in remote collaboration with Kojiro Umezaki, who recorded individual shakuhachi sound events that were later sequenced and layered. The video is a 2D adaptation of a 3D 360˚ work.
